Assessment independence
Verification decisions are structurally separated from marketing, training and candidate acquisition. No commercial team can influence a reviewer's score, and paying a verification application fee purchases assessment — never an outcome.
Reviewer standards
Reviewers are qualified practitioners approved for specific skills. They score against published criteria, provide structured feedback, and cannot amend a candidate's result after final submission without authorised administrative action, which is logged.
Conflict-of-interest controls
Reviewers must declare any relationship with a candidate — employment, teaching, mentoring, family or commercial. A declared conflict removes the reviewer from the assignment and the application is reassigned.
Verification methodology
Each skill publishes required evidence, assessment methods, difficulty level and pass score. Methodology is versioned, so every credential records the exact standard applied at the time of the decision.
Auditability
Logins, reviewer assignments, score submissions, decisions, credential issuance, status changes, payments and administrative changes are written to an append-only audit log used for integrity investigations.
Credential security
Each credential carries a unique, unpredictable public identifier in an administrator-configurable format. Credential state is authoritative on the server and cannot be altered from a client. Public pages disclose only what is required to confirm a credential.
Data protection
Candidate, employer, reviewer, verification, payment and audit data are logically separated with strict authorisation rules. Candidates cannot access other candidates' data, reviewers see only assigned applications, and employers see only authorised information.
Revocation procedures
Credentials may be suspended during an integrity review and revoked where misrepresentation, plagiarism, impersonation or assessment misconduct is substantiated. The public verification page always shows current status.
Appeals
Candidates may appeal a refusal, suspension or revocation. Appeals are considered by reviewers who were not part of the original decision, and the outcome is recorded against the application history.
Continuous improvement
Pass rates, reviewer agreement, appeal outcomes and post-verification signals are monitored to recalibrate criteria and question banks. Changes are versioned rather than applied retroactively.
